Our Most Popular Cornwall Fishing Trip
The 4-hour wreck and reef fishing trip is the most booked trip on the Emma Kate — and it's easy to see why. It's the perfect balance of adventure and accessibility; long enough to reach exceptional fishing grounds and enjoy proper sport, short enough to fit into a Cornwall holiday or a day off. Whether you've fished before or this is your first time at sea, this trip delivers.
From Padstow harbour, skippers Lee and John will steam either west towards the dramatic headland at Trevose Head, or east in the direction of Boscastle and Tintagel — always choosing the direction with the best conditions, the optimal tide and the most productive marks on the day.
Once on the grounds, you'll be fishing real shipwrecks from both World Wars and earlier periods, or the rugged reef systems that characterise the North Cornwall seabed. These aren't tourist hotspots — these are wild, productive fishing marks that hold extraordinary numbers of quality fish year-round. Wrecks in particular concentrate fish in enormous numbers; a good pollack session on a deep wreck mark is something serious anglers travel across the UK to experience.
All rods, reels, lines, weights, hooks and bait are included. Our skippers will rig your rods, show you the technique, and put you on the fish. Your only job is to enjoy it — and keep hold of the rod when something big grabs the lure.
